How can you go wrong with a liquor store attached to a bar? The service was great and the drinks are cheap. I ordered a pitcher of beer and the waiter asked if I wanted free wings with that. I gave him a look like "did you have to ask"? The dolphin fingers were good and we were both full by the time our meals came. We had a few bites and the sandwiches were great. This place is hectic in a good way and there are more than a fair share of characters at this place. Definitely an awesome dive.

I ordered a medium burger, came out raw and still bleeding.. I feel sick to my stomach already and I haven't even walked out the front door. Last time coming to Flanigan's knowing they let anything walkout of the kection still alive and bleeding.

Flanigan's Review For 8/14/13 My family and I went here for dinner and we had to wait 15 to 20 minutes but one thing was the table was ready in 5 minutes. The waiter was nice and served us very well, his name is Daniel. One thing as I noticed that our waiter dropped someone else's fries while waiting for the main course. WiFi has very good signal strength and not bad at all if you web surfing while eating your meal. For food we had garlic rolls, ceaser salads. For my main course I had chicken wings with crispy curly fries, my bro had the same thing but with regular curly fries so as my mom. My dad had BAR-Q wings with regular fries. For desert we had Key Lime Pie which was served into individuals and it was good. For overall I would rate this visit 4 out of 5 stars due to the wait. This is the second Flaningan's location I had reviewed!

Our go to restaurant in the area. Been going here at least once a month for 3 years. Food is delicious, filling, and well priced. We usually have the ribs, but have tried many of the other menu items. Never had a bad meal. Can't say that about other eateries. Never had dessert because we were so full. We'll continue to go there.

Whenever I am in Hallandale Beach I always stop by Flanigan's for a late meal. They have really good Burgers and Shrimp. I also like their Dolphin Fingers too. From 9pm until Close they have up to half off of their drink menu so that makes my time there even better.

Great ribs, appetizers ( love Joe's Rockin'Rib Rolls & tumbleweed onions). Also good lunch specials.

It's Flanigans's....how can you go wrong! Seriously how can you go wrong. Summary - Beer - cheap and on point Food - Burger was served hot and in a timely manner and had some hell of a flavor. and cheap!!! Service - We were a group of about 10 guys and i felt bad for out waitress...lol but the drinks and food came out in a timely manner and i never had an empty glass of had to go searching for our waitress. So all in all if you are in need of a quick inexpensive bite that is not counter service or drive through check them out. Nom nom nom

Quick friendly service. Went to two different locations. First time, we had Dolphin or Mahi Mahi fries and a pasta dish. Fantastic for the type of food it is. Ate a chocolate dessert that will give you goose bumps. So much sugar!!!! Second time, different location, we had a very large group from my work. I ordered the rib rolls on a recommendation. They got everybody's orders right. Awesome comfort food cooked to make you crazy hungry!!!

One of my favorite Flanigan's locations - and our server for lunch (Lori or Laurie) was top-notch. Two of us had wings and the third had the tuna and everyone left happy!

You can't get any better with the drink specials and the ribs! And those yummy greasy garlic rolls to keep the drunk desperate dudes out of my face! Lol

The ribs--that's all you need to know; and you should give the somewhat-spicy ketchup with the fries a try too. Service was good and friendly. Classic American Bar/Restaurant. Laid back. Sports on every tv hanging on the walls. Will definitely go back.

Everything in this place is really good. They have fresh Mahi Mahi fish and what they are known for the baby back ribs. Locals visit this place often and they come back for more.

I've passed by this restaurant for years and never even thought of going in. So what changed that? I saw a friend post a pic of wings from Flanigans and they were looking too good for me not to want some. So I finally made my way here after placing a to-go order. I only had to wait for the woman in-front of me to get out of the way so I could make my way to the Take-Out counter, lol. I gave my name and my order was ready! Now let me say this, I love wings. I mean really love wings. And I was skeptical about these wings as they looked plain upon opening my order. But I fell in love with the first bite! Their wings are amazing and 10 wasn't enough! I can't wait to return

Not only is flanigans a great option for burgers, sandwiches and seafood, but this particular flanigans is the location that is the most consistent in terms of its good food and service. Can't go wrong with the blackened mahi and they have the best curly fries around!

The food here is delish! I mean seriously good! The garlic bread is dripping in garlic and butter! I'm not even a bread person but I could've made this a meal! Best bread ever! The ribs were pretty solid. The firecracker shrimp is a must! You have to have them. They are amazing! I recommend this place. It's just a regular bar type atmosphere but it's so worth it. If I ever go back to this area I would definitely return.

Ok, my rating is based on the gloomy environment and bad drink. I'm sitting here writing this review and feeling some negative energy. What turned me off the most was the drink. I had the Flannitini margarita which tasted like watered down baileys. Why am I paying you for a watered down Bailyes? I can water down my own bailey's- thank you. If I can't enjoy my deliciously introduced cocktail what can I expect from their food? Plus the food was over priced for the environment, I don't mind paying for a nice enjoyable meal but I feel a bad cloud over this place. It is just not positive or inviting. I had an appetizer and half of my drink and I was out. It was just not worth the calories. Sorry flannigans. I was disappointed :-(. Had the appetizer, now I will go somewhere else to finish my meal. Update: I went across the street to Dal Maestros and loved that place better than Flannigans anyday! and it costs about the same with a better menu! (Dal Maestro is italian)

Flanigans - Hallendale- 7/12/15 always too crowded & some supply issues - this location always seems to small , maybe it's the layout or a main large circular bar. 30 min wait to be seated. This time out of Pitchers of Yingling Beer ! Had Stella Instead $15 - Side Note Observation ; Last three locations floor was managed by African Americans, strange in a place w/ such a heavy Irish theme, & all the white Anglers photo on the walls. What's worst than bad music, ....LOUD bad music. ( Weak Reggae, & SKA music) Flannigans Burger cooked medium excellent at $9 one of the best deals in town. Service a little slow & inattentive. This location is always a little off from other Flannigans . $35 good value - 8.5

We went to Flanigan's last night and the hostess told us it would be a 40 minute wait. I think she saw the look I gave my boyfriend and assured me that it usually goes faster than the estimate time. So we decided that if we waited longer than 20 minutes, we would try somewhere else. Sure enough the hostess called us about 15 minutes later. Our server was Jorge, and he was good, but he seemed a little overwhelmed. Other servers brought us our food, etc. But Jorge kept checking on us, which I appreciated. Service in general was friendly, but kind of slow, hence the one star off. We never got waters that we asked two different people for. The food was on the money. We started with the steamers, which were really good! And the mozzarella sticks. The sauce that came with them was a little sweet for me, but definitely not bad. I got the fried shrimp entree and I can honestly say that it was some of the best fried shrimp I've had. I loved that the coating of batter was thin, and it was really flavorful. My curly fries were good too, especially with the BBQ sauce they have on the table. My boyfriend got the surf and turf and said he liked it. There was a small mistake on our receipt, but our server fixed it quickly and kindly. If i lived in this area, in would probably be a regular here.

The food is good, the restaurant is always busy, and while I don't come that often, when I do I always wonder why I don't come more often. My last visit, was a to-go/pick-up order. Everything was as expected. What I really like about this place, is that while you do pay a little more that you would expect from a place like this, the quantity and quality match the price. On this visit, I ordered the blackened Salmon, with side of broccoli and the tumbleweed onion appetizer. The Salmon was cooked perfectly, and the size was noticeably larger from other restaurants I have been too. The onion app was huge and also cooked perfectly. Nice and crispy and not greasy. The broccoli was steamed and was a decent side. If you are looking of a bar and grill type place, that has decent beer selection, good food and some kick-ass BBQ sauce, this is your place. Ribs, seafood, appetizers, drinks they have it all... Be prepared to wait, but its worth it.

Came for lunch. Ordered salmon sandwich and my woman ordered lemon pepper tilapia. I asked for the complimentary cole slaw that comes with most meals. They said my salmon wont come with it. I still asked her to bring me the coleslaw. When my foods came. No coleslaw. Asked the food runner for cole slaw. She didnt bring it to me. Server returned and i had to tell her id pay top dollar for the f#*#*#g coleslaw .. Smh. She then said if i pay the dollar ninety nine ill get it. So sad that i had to ask so many times. Idc what the price is. I wanted the coleslaw and was given a hard time so now i leave u guys with this review and only 2 stars. Smh. Wouldve been smart to just bring it to me the first time and add it to the bill. This complimentary coleslaw is a hit and the service was not so great. Thanks ... Ill leave u guys a nice decent comment card too

Ordered wings, medium hot, well-done. Not medium, not well done, no sauce ?? how do they think the wings are going to turn out medium with next to no sauce, bartender didn't care and had an attitude. I will never get wings there again. Really disappointing.

This place is always consistent. The food is mediocre and the prices are reasonable. However, when it is season (September to April) you cannot go near this place. It is packed from 4pm to midnight. It's like it's the only restaurant in Hallandale. However, if you go during the rest of the year it is a nice place to grab a quick bite.

First Visit: Horrendous. We went inside to get a time frame for dinner, and the young hostess was clearly overwhelmed. A very intoxicated older man was stumbling around, talking very close to her face when he kept asking if he can sit in the bar. She kept explaining that he has to put his name on the list. She asked us our name and how many. We said 2. The drunk returned, harassing her some more, when she finally allowed him to cut the entire line, and sit at a table. Not a good start. She looks at us again, and says "Name and how many?" --- as if she never saw us before???? The manager was strolling around outside and looked miserable and yelled at the "security guard" for sitting in a golf cart and clearly not doing his job. Security guy puts cart away. We finally get sat after 45 minutes, and inside was FREEZING. And by freezing, I mean frigid. It was so cold that 4 other groups of people waiting to be sat asked to be moved. I liked the menu and what they offered. Overall, the wait staff was flustered, overwhelmed, and had a section to big for his abilities. He was very nice and polite, but never checked back with us after us having our meals. It took over an hour to get our food, and the manager said they were busy and it would be right out. That was nice. But yes when the food came it was delish. My husband got a burger, and I got prime rib. One of the best seasoned prime rib's I think I have ever had. I wish service was better - Today's grade: D+ Second Visit: Monday night, I believe it was "Mexican nacho night". No wait. Our waiter was Jorge, and he did a fantastic job. He was attentive, explained the menu, checked on us often and our food was amazing. I had the ribs (you have to get them) and my husband had a seafood dish. I wanted to give the place a 2nd try because I felt like the first night was a disaster. I am a tourist traveling, so I will never be back unless we go back down to the condo. The 2nd time, it was not freezing which is dually noted. I do not think because someone is intoxicated, they should jump the entire line of people waiting over 45 minutes for a table. They should have just kicked him out.

I've been here about 4 times now and I'm just not seeing it. For sure the place is packed and has a following - but the food is not much better than Applebees which I don't like. They never give you any napkins even if you get sloppy wings. And you almost always have to ask for silverware - what's up with that? My times there I've had the burger, the fish sandwich, clam chowder, grilled chicken salad (which was extremely greasy and nasty), how do you mess up a salad? I was not a fan of any of these dishes - they were mediocre at best. The portions are overly large, so maybe that explains the love? But sorry to say, I am not a fan at all. Will not be back unless forced to because people I'm with want to go for the convenience of location. Definitely not for me.

If you like pork and barbecue you must try the rock and rolls, are amazing! And the ribs are the best in town, if you are coming to Miami you should eat here.

I fell in love with Flannigans the first trip I took, way back when, in Coral Gables. I've even to multiple locations and always had a good experience. Get the ribs and curly fries and droll over it for weeks to come.

I must have reviewed Big Daddy's before; they are a tradition with me in South Florida. The food goes up and the food goes down, but it's almost always in the middle. I get really annoyed when they (and they always do run out of roast beef OR it's well done. There is always something to fill in like the ribeye or the ribs and the dolphin is good. It has about everything you could ask for in a neighborhood bar/restaurant. It's certainly not up scale, but it's in balance most of the time. The story of the origional owner is long; I knew him but it's not especially a happy story so I wont bore you. For the most part Big Daddy will not let you down.

Love this place! Ordered the full rack of ribs w/fries, the caesar salad and garlic rolls. I ate it all! The rolls I dream about! The ribs were fall off the bone, fries were just how I like them and the salad was even good (need I say bacon bits and homemade croutons)! We had to go back! So two weeks later and I had to try something new. I ordered the steak and fried shrimp combo. We also ordered a dozen rolls hoping to have some to take home... Well that didn't happen we ate them all! Love this place. Huge wait though, they always say about 20-30mins but its more like 40mins. But so worth the wait. If you are looking to watch sports and enjoy a drink I dont think its the place more for dinner and good food. It's so busy and loud, but oh so good!

  • Walter M.

Worst place to watch a game. The service at the bar was very rude and racists comments were said. It took 3 different people to tell us after 30min that they couldn't change the channel. We change to a table and the waitress was a little better.

Flannigans is good for getting together and having drinks. The food is average....not 5 star quality. Steaks are kind of bland. Sandwiches, clan chowder and salads are good.

If I could eat here everyday of my life, I would. The menu is packed with awesome. Ribs, awesome. chipotle chicken sandwich with 1/2 lb of chicken on it, awesome. Joe's Rib Eggrolls, just get them... Now. Late nights, 50% off bar drinks. Oh, and if you want to really get something awesome, 1/2 rack of ribs and 1/2 dozen spicy wings with curly fries for $16.99. Wash it down with a cold beer, and you're golden. Downside... You're probably gonna gain weight, but it was totally worth it.

Stayed in Miami for 3 days and hated it... finally went north to Hollywood and it's more my style. This place is great!! Been looking for a good priced seafood/American restaurant to eat... this is the one! Simple, good, inexpensive and great service. Come during happy hour for 50% off all brands!!! My server, JOJO, was very nice and helpful!! Will return!!

I went to Flanigan's last night with a friend and the waitress Lizzy was as knowledgable as could be about the menu, and as pleasant and funny as can be. We started with New England clam chowder, I had a margarita, then a perfectly-done medium rare ribeye with a baked potato and cole slaw. I emphasized that the steak should not be cooked anything past medium rare and Lizzy said she would make sure of that with the cook. It came out perfect. The cole slaw was cold, crisp, and fresh. The baked potato was perfectly done. The brownie and ice cream and coffee afterwards were perfect. My friend had surf and turf and he enjoyed everything as well as I did. We had all of this for about $70...you can't beat that.

Like or loved most of the Flanigan's branches but this was the worst.Wings suck ,fries suck ,rolls suck, ribs SUCK!!!!!! ,even the drinks were horrible.Had little white things in my drink and service was pretty horrible, had two call out to waiter multiple time to get a drink and the manager was sitting a right a cross !

Yes - not the nicest place in the world. Yes - kind of weird to get to (go behind the liquor store) but we came here on a whim while passing through town and were pleasantly surprised. The firecracker shrimp was great. The dolphin fingers not so good. The garlic bread was awesome. Their ribs are their claim to fame and were quite good. Overall - you do get great value for your dollar. Service was great too.

Visiting from Chicago we stopped here because it had good food reviews, we arrived with our luggage and waited outside for a few min waiting for it to open, and when they did, the woman who opened the door looked at us and said "we don't have any place for your luggage" and then walked back inside. Obviously not keen to tourists, so rude. We obviously did not stick around to try the food.

Visiting from out of town and wanted to get some seafood for our very first meal in Florida. the menu looked awesome so we waited outside for 10 minutes for the restaurant to open. when the waitress opened the door to let the guests outside waiting in she was very friendly to the guys waiting then turned to my friend and I (with our suitcases having just arrived from the airport being dropped off by a cab) and rudely said "oh we don't have room for your suitcases." so we left and went elsewhere and were very upset.

Their surf and turf is really good. But it sucks that they use small shrimp now instead of the jumbo shrimps. I am also in love with their lemon chicken pasta. Their rib rolls are also pretty gnarly. The service is good and quick. I am already used to the faces of the employees there so I feel comfortable.

One star because the ribs. They were amazinggg. Well first we got there. We were 9 people. So we asked for two tables. Once we waited and got inside. We sat on a table that the lady from the door assigned to us. So all the kids would sit in one table and the other for the adults. The lady that was going to be our server she saw us sitting and she was like (cant you guys sit in one)?? Like really 9 people in one table? How the hell we going to eat? Second of all. Im 23 i do love techno and electro music. Which were the music that was playing. But it was plain annoying. You dont put that type of music in a restaurant and if you do you would only put 1-2. Songs. They were playing techno song for like 30 mins. So frustrating. I wanted to leave it was so loud. When the food came instead of coming all together. It came for one table first and the other table for adults got it like 12 mins after. That was just beyond ridiculous. Not coming back ever again. Maybe a to go ribs. And yes jasmin or jazmin was the lady that attended us after the first girl. And jazmin was amazing. Thank you jazmin.

My bf and I have been eating Flanigan's for 20+ years now. My bf's dad lives behind the Flanigan's in Hialeah so he grew up eating there. His uncle is neighbors with Jim Flanigan. I LOVE FLANIGAN'S. But, this past Friday the staff and the food sucked. Let me start off with the beginning of our experience last Friday. We were in Bal Harbor when we decided to call ahead and order to pick up. Bal Harbor. Right before Haulover brigde. Alma picks up, puts him on hold, he waited about 5 min, hung up and called again. We never ever called and had been put on hold that long so because it was so unusual he called back. Alma picks up again, knowing it was him from his voice and said "oh I'm sorry, give me one second". We waited...and waited..we waited so long we pulled up into Flanigan's 27 minutes later, walked up to the side of the bar where you order and I asked a guy who looked like the manager in a red shirt "who's taking phone orders?" He replied whoever is here so my bf shows him his phone showing we had been placed on hold for 27 minutes. he picks up the Flanigan's phone, puts it to his ear and asks my bf "is this you?", sees we're not lying, shrugs his shoulder, hangs up the phone, and lifts up the bar to leave. Said absolutely nothing in regards to why the hell Alma placed us on the never ending hold. Neither apologized, it was just like whatever. We ordered, went back outside to wait for the food to see the manager outside smoking a cigarette. The food finally comes, I get home there's no tartar sauce for the shrimp and the shrimp were extremely dry which is also unusual for them. As expensive as Flanigan's is I expect complete satisfaction in my order, which this time I didn't get. I hope it was just a glitch, a one time thing.

It's the closest one to my home & the food has always been consistent! Great food at a good price & their Tuna steak is the best. I love the whole Lunch club concept & I've tried many items on the menu. The waitstaff is usually very friendly & attentive as well. I highly recommend.

Something to think about. I had an unusual experience yesterday at this location. First, as a solo diner I was approached within 2 minutes of arrival by a guy trying to meet girls. Luckily the staff saw and intervened rescuing me from an uneasy situation. Brownie points for them. I got the meal deal, and was asked 10oz or 16 oz beer ( 10oz comes with the dinner) so I opted for the 16 as any self respecting beer lover would. I had 2 beers total. Good times, great food. Then the check comes. Since I "upgraded to the 16 oz beer, my "meal deal " was upgraded as well. Not the food amount mind you - (I ordered and ate a half rack @15.99 on the menu as opposed to the full rack @19.99) So I was charged 19.99 because of the beer upgrade. My second beer - unrelated to the "deal" but same size was only $1.75. When I asked the manager (who had come to my rescue earlier and he was my hero) he told me some crazy answer like it's the corporate way or something like that. I told him it was ridiculous, he smiled uncomfortably and did nothing about it. After delicious food and drink, good service & fun atmosphere - I left disappointed. Would i go back - probably (and why I gave 4 stars) as I have been a customer as long as I can remember - all over South Florida, but will be sure to ask the details next time. So the moral of my story is buy beware, and try the ribs, they are delish.

This place is pretty interesting. There is a lot of people watching to be done. And since they have a full bar, the entertainment just gets better. I went here with a couple of friends and our server made our experience great. I believe his name was Ken. Anyway, his comebacks and jokes made my experience a bit better. The food was crap, so Ken and the people watching made it worthwhile.

Went last night with my family had a 20 minute wait. Our server took our order promptly. However it was hard to find her once we got our food. I wanted more sour cream and had ordered extra with my order that I never received. I had to remind her twice while my family already finished their meals. Also they don't ask if you want refills you need to ask. If you want ribs this is the place.

Been going to the area Flanigan's for years and can always depend on a varied menu and excellent service. Tonight our group of three had Cesar salad with added crab salad (very large and tasty), half rack ribs (very good) and ,I think, the best Philly cheese steak around. The Tumbleweed onions are always a great starter. They were very busy at 7pm on a Wednesday and we waited about 15 minutes to be seated. Though busy, the food came out fast and hot. We will be back..

Hands down, the best bar food in South Florida. I am not talking about some unexpected fancy bar offering upscale dining or some faddy gastro pub that has reinvented bar fare through some regionally inspired spices or cooking techniques. I am talking about just sitting down and eating a plate of nachos as big as a table with your fingers. I am talking about picking up a burger, a rib, a wing, a cheese steak, etc., and just chowing down. I am talking about taking whatever is edible or otherwise leftover from the day before, throwing it in a fryer, and giving it to you in plastic bin with a cold pitcher of cheap beer. That is bar fare. We may not have invented it, but we own it. (Wait, maybe we should not be so proud about that.) You need these things in life, and Mr. Flanigan knows how to do this and do it right. These places are not the cleanest in the world. Do not talk to me about the restrooms. I agree, I try to avoid them. Do not talk to me about the walls, with their dust coated nautical knickknacks. I do not care. Do not talk to me about spotty service, paper napkins, or plastic cups. I do not care. The food is down-right solid, and the beer specials can be dirt cheap. That is all one needs to know. The sleeper is the prime rib. One would not expect a place like this to, one, have this as a menu item, and two, offer a big portion that is cooked right and full of flavor. It is great. What also is good is when they offer, the next day, the prime rib sandwich. The sandwich is really good, but make sure to ask for a side of the horseradish sauce. I have ventured all over the menu from the hamburger, to the cheese steak, to the ribs, to the prime rib, to the variety of fish sandwiches (whether grilled, fried, or blackened), to the nachos, to the kids' jurassic juniors chicken tenders, and all is consistently good. And I always love the curly fries. A great way to end the meal and to send your kids into orbit is the brownie dessert. I have eaten in many restaurants in this country and others (from fancy to stand up), but I still think nothing is better for dessert than just heating up a brownie and topping it with a big scoop of ice cream, whip cream, chocolate sauce, and some sort of crunchy texture (whether that is Oreos or nuts). It is the perfect, most simple concept, and remains the champ. When I think of the Japanese concept of umami, this is it to me.

NOW WITH AWESOME BBQ RIBS! First, you must order a famous house drink called "The Red Death". It's really tasty but man it will get you hammered! Get it in the souvenir cup. And yes the seafood is awesome but it's a little known fact that Flanigan's also really knows how to do some unbelievable Ribs.

Seeing the good reviews and "seafood" in Flanigan's name, we had high expectations. We were disappointed. This is one of a chain of bars that feature loud 70s music. As a bar it's not too bad but DON'T go for the seafood. There are very few selections and all are (probably) frozen fish fillets that can be grilled, blackened, fried, etc. The server said the dolphin was great. It wasn't. We had it simply grilled and it looked -and tasted- like a mass-prepared item: the fillet was very thin with a cross hash of grill marks. Decent prices on full bottles of table wines. The divey atmosphere may be worth a stop for a drink IF you're already in the neighborhood. But don't go out of your way.

Meh, this place is OK. This is where we go when we cant make up our mind on where else to go. The burgers need some help. They look great, but the flavor, is just not there. I realize that this location serves the oldest people in Hallendale, but try using just a LITTLE more salt and pepper in your cooking. It will go a long way! I do nejoy the huge green cups that you can take home though. Thats a plus.

The food at any Flanigans is generally very good and made to perfection (as I like to put it) :). I usually get the half-rack of ribs and 6 wings combo with bleu cheese and coleslaw... which I still get, but I went there on a Monday last week and ordered a pitcher of soda and got free nachos. I became an instant fan of those nachos. It was HUGE... and since it was just me and my sister eating, we definitely could not finish it. It was good though, so now that's my staple appetizer. The ribs are so tender and delicious... couldn't ask for anything better. The wait time is usually long since it's always packed. The service is pretty good depending on which server you have. John is a GREAT server, always attentive and very entertaining. However, I was a little disappointed with the service today, the server would disappear for periods of time. OH I almost forgot, our nachos came a little more than a half hour after we ordered it... then 5 minutes later, our entrees came. Not good...

An avid fan of Flanigans, I was disappointed with this location. Came here on a coworker luncheon on a rainy day. Surprisingly, the place was super duper packed, but we got seated pretty quickly. The service was okay, but our food ended up coming out about 50 minutes after we ordered it. We had told the waiter that we were in a hurry only because we had an hour lunch break. Turns out by the time we got our food we had to scarf it down because we were already 30 min late. On top of the delayed food, my coworker found something floating in her vinegar. EEEKKKK!

My favorite place to get a dolphin (mahi mahi) sandwich in South Florida. It's always fresh and at a reasonable price. The green cups are pretty nice to carry around and use around the home as well. This location is right at the corner of US 1 and Hallandale Beach Blvd., the staff was very friendly and attentive. I would definitely come back next time I'm in the area.

Never disappointed at Flannigan's. The food is very good and well prepared, the servers are excellent, and the overall ambience is Frensley upbeat. Be prepared for lines on the weekends for it is quite popular.

I like going to Flaniga's because their food is reasonably priced and consistent. They often have drink specials and dinner specials; although I don't make special trips for the specials. I get their ribs all the time, they have great flavor and normally fall off the bone. My wife normally gets the salmon which is always cooked perfectly. When we are doing take-out we typically get their salads with grilled chicken; one of my wifes favorite things is their chicken; it's never over-cooked or dry.

Sorry for the delay.. With school over, I have the time now to describe my St. Patty Day at this restaurant. We had one hour to go in, but that was perfectly normal for a Green festive thing going on. The staff always greeted us. No frowny faces (who would want that on St. Pat Day?! and I'm sure there are places like that) There was a guy who was dressed in all greens and was dancing around and being silly. I liked that spirit that the restaurant is allowing their worker to be. :) Since I never tried the ribs, I went with the half rack special, along with some wings and caesar salad (I took leftover to go, of course). Yes, I ordered a different alcoholic drink than a beer. It was a strawberry daiquiri but it was a bit watered down. No problem, at least it didn't brain freeze me. Haha. The waitress said that you won't taste the alcohol but swears that it's in there. She was right. :) The place was loud and crowded as I expected it to be, but they handled their customers with timing pretty well. The service was fast and the waitress didn't ignore us. I feel pretty bad about not getting her name, though.

Great food! When we went there they the lines went out the doors! Same thing with the next day! So one day we left early and got in line. As they say the early bed gets the worm. We got in there in about five minutes. But we went there early! They had great award winning wings and awesome rib roles.

It's a sports bar and liquor store in one, how can you go wrong? Well, you can go wrong in one way, by getting the lunch on a weekend. Go on a weekday between 11 and 3, and the 10oz burger is half price, as long as you order something to drink with it. This is a pretty great deal, and since they're practically everywhere in South Florida, you won't have to waste very much of your precious gas money to get there.

Suprisingly good food. Three reasons: the ribs, the ribs, and the ribs. The sauce is great and although they're not smoked or traditional southern BBQ, they are the best you'll find at a bar and grill chain. I love the laid back nautical theme and the rowdy bar. Perfect place to come and enjoy cheap draft beers. They have great specials most days. I just got back and had the Joe's dinner special. It comes with a draft beer, caesar salad, awesome garlic rolls, fries and a half rack of ribs($14.99). That is a deal. I can barely cook a half rack of ribs for that price. My boyfriend had the fried shrimp dinner which was a little skimpy. I wouldn't reccomend it. Also, their clam chowder is mostly runny and not that many clams. When it comes to dessert you have to try the bonzai brownie. It's SOO BIG. Enough for four people and it's just good. Ice cream, gooey brownie, fude whipped cream, oreos, and kit kat bars. YUM! They also have good deals at the raw bar. Dozen steamed clams for $8.99. Great place to come for a casual dinner and enjoy some ice cold beer. You may have to wait on the weekends.

I have been eating drinking and attending Happy Hour at Flanigan's for several years. In my opinion, they have the best Happy Hour in town with $5.99 lunch deals until 4:00 and 1/2 price drinks from 7-9 and from 9-closing. I am a beer drinker and the beer is very fresh, tasty and runs cleanly; they have a broad selection. Service is always friendly and courteous, sometimes even entertaining! The food is consistently good and they are open to altering menu items to suit the customer's needs. I have occasionally had to send food back because it is either over or under-cooked, but they always are willing to correct it. The bar crowd at dinner time is friendly and a good place to meet new, interesting people. There are several of us regulars who meet nearly everyday for social livation. If I were to have any complaint, it would be that the bar area is dark, and too small, especially during the "Season" (Nov-Apr), and the menu rarely changes. On the other hand, affordability and consistency are 2 of their greatest assets.

This place is-what-it-is - most definitely a bar & grill. As bar & grills go, its great. Great comfort food. The burgers, salads, fried shrimp, and curly fries are all great. I really like the slight spicy zip to the fried shrimp. The portions are generous. Plan to wait - because the food is good and very reasonable, the crowds come. There are lots of TVs jammed with sports in the bar area. The bartenders at this location are excellent. If you are looking for a spot to have a few brews, watch some sports, and enjoy some bar food - this is a great choice.

Dolphin Fingers. Delicious. The staff here is usually pretty cool and on their game. You might have to wait a bit for a table, depending what time of day it is. They have really great lunch specials. Kitschy Fishing Decor thing going on. Fun! Epitome of a Chain but with Way better food.
